Woven with Wisdom
I loved Neither Wolf Nor Dog. It is a powerful reminder that the way history is told can shape what generations believe—and can become propaganda when only one perspective is allowed to survive. We must never forget the lessons of history or silence the voices that challenge the accepted version of it. The wisdom woven throughout this story is both profound and practical: use your words carefully, invest your time and energy in what truly matters, and remember that your way is not the only way. When we become willing to listen with humility and open ourselves to other ways of seeing and living, we don’t diminish who we are—we expand.
Neither Wolf Nor Dog
By Kent Nerburn
Neither Wolf nor Dog follows author Kent Nerburn as he travels through Lakota country with Dan, a Native American elder determined to share truths that history books often overlook. What begins as a writing assignment becomes an immersive journey into Indigenous history, spirituality, humor, grief and the enduring relationship between people and the land. Through uncomfortable conversations and unexpected experiences, Nerburn—and the reader—must confront cultural assumptions, learn to listen without defensiveness and recognize the difference between observing another culture and truly allowing it to challenge your worldview.

Surviving Death
By Leslie Kean
Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife follows investigative journalist Leslie Kean as she explores credible evidence suggesting that consciousness may continue beyond physical death. Drawing upon research, firsthand accounts and her own experiences, Kean examines near-death experiences, children who report memories of previous lives, apparitions, mediumship and other phenomena that resist easy explanation. Her careful, open-minded approach avoids both unquestioning belief and reflexive dismissal, creating space for readers to examine the evidence, wrestle with uncertainty and consider what these extraordinary cases might reveal about consciousness, grief and the meaning of being alive.

I appreciated Leslie Kean’s scientific approach to investigating the possibility of an afterlife. She brings both intellectual rigor and genuine humanity to the subject, examining extraordinary claims with the healthy skepticism they deserve while never losing sight of the people behind the evidence. Kean investigates each case with the same care and determination you would hope for if she were searching for answers about someone you loved. Surviving Death is thoughtful, compelling and refreshingly open-minded—never asking readers to believe blindly, but inviting them to consider what the evidence might reveal.

Blessed Are
the Weird
By Jacob Nordby
What if the very qualities that make you feel different are the ones the world most needs?
Blessed Are the Weird: A Manifesto for Creatives is an invitation to stop shrinking the parts of yourself that do not fit neatly into the expected mold. Jacob Nordby celebrates artists, dreamers, mystics, rebels, truth-tellers and quietly creative souls—and challenges us to reconsider what success looks like when we live from authenticity rather than conformity.
Through thoughtful reading, creative exploration and honest conversation, we’ll examine what keeps us from expressing who we truly are, reconnect with our natural creativity and consider what becomes possible when we finally give our “weird” permission to lead. Nordby’s central message is that creativity belongs to everyone and can bring greater aliveness into every part of life.
